Tsinghua President Gu Binglin on Friday October 12th attended the outdoor inauguration ceremony for Drew Gilpin Faust as Harvard’s 28th President. President Gu was accompanied on his visit by Tsinghua Vice President Kang Kejun. An academic procession featured representatives of universities from around the world and thousands of the Harvard faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
President Gu later met with President Faust，exchanging ideas on cooperation in energy, the environment, and economics.
